Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Phelps Is Olympics Golden Boy: U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps has become the winningest Olympic athlete of all time, thanks to the latest gold medals he garnered Tuesday at the 2008 Beijing Olympic games. He now has 11 career gold medals after his fast finishes at The Water Cube. Truly amazing. Michael Phelps, we salute you!

No Sanders For ‘90210’: The Peach Pit won’t have the same appeal without Steve Sanders around. “It’s not really where my career goals are focused right now,” Ian Ziering told People about the possibility of his return to “90210.” “I’m really looking down the line pretty far and this might be a step backwards.” But fear not Steve devotees, Ian says his character will always be with us in some capacity. “You know, Steve Sanders lives on in our hearts and in our minds,” he told the mag. So true Ian, so true.

Jennie Garth “Bummed” About Tori Spelling: It appears it’s grey skies in the “90210,” for Jennie Garth. “[The press thinks] we’re at war over salary with Tori. I didn’t know I was at war with Tori,” Jennie told Entertainment Weekly. “I’m really bummed because I love Tori and I was psyched Tori was going to be on the show. I think she should definitely get paid as much as either of us is getting paid. Her father created the show. It just seems wrong if that’s the case. I don’t know what really happened because I haven’t talked to her. I would like to talk to her.” She’s so “bummed,” she apparently can’t even make a phone call!
