Lindsay Lohan: I Saved the Lives of 40 Kids

"This is what life is about," she tweeted

Lindsay Lohan is changing the world. Or so she says.

The starlet arrived in the country on Wednesday to make a BBC documentary on the human trafficking of women and kids -- and within a few hours she had already claimed to be changing the world.

"Over 40 children saved so far... Within one day's work... This is what life is about ... Doing THIS is a life worth living!!!" she posted on her Twitter page Wednesday. "Oh, and I'm talking about being in India."

The actress, who recently made headlines for a sexy photo spread, said she wants to make a difference in the world "one child at a time" by spreading the word about human trafficking.

"Trafficking is a big issue here, I'm [going to do] what I can, and I will continue to do so as long as life when time permits," she posted on Twitter. "Never too late to start helping others, however you can."

"I'm only one person," she posted. "Let's not start judging and looking for negatives that don't exist."
