Jaime Pressly Formally Charged Over Drunk Driving Incident

Her name is bummed.

Emmy-winning actress Jaime Pressly was formally charged Tuesday with misdemeanor drunken driving in connection with her Jan. 5 arrest in southern California, The Associated Press reported.

Deputy Santa Monica DA Melanie Skehar told the wire service Pressly, 33, was charged with driving under the influence and for having a blood alcohol limit of .20 or higher.

The ex-"My Name is Earl" star faces up to six months in the clink, if convicted, though she could end up serving less time for alcohol-education classes and the lot, according to E! News.

She will reportedly be arraigned on Monday.

The charges come less than two weeks since Pressly announced she'd pulled the plug on her marriage to entertainment lawyer Simran Singh, her hubby of a little more than a year.

Pressly latest string of bad news also includes being in the sights of the IRS for allegedly owing $637,000 in back taxes to the government, according to E!
