Gay marriage is legal in Massachusetts and California, but Lindsay Lohan's father is cool to the idea of his starlet daughter marrying her girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Despite Ronson's stabilizing influence (LA police chief William Bratton cited Lohan's good behavior since she has "gone gay" last week), Michael Lohan is quoted recently expressing his lack of support for gay marriage. “I haven’t heard anything (about an upcoming wedding) from Lindsay, but if she was marrying Sam, I don’t think she’d ask me to walk her down the aisle. She knows about my (Christian) faith … she just wouldn’t ask.” Michael Lohan stressed that he wanted foremost for his daughter to be healthy and happy, telling MSNBC that he supported the occasionally misbehaving young star in "indirect" ways. Lindsay Lohan's parents are divorced and Michael Lohan served 2 1/2 years behind bars for violating his probation following a DUI conviction.
