Breakfast reportedly begins with three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, vegetables, friend onions and mayonnaise. But he doesn’t stop there. The 6’4” swimmer then chows down on a five-egg omelet, a bowl of grits, three pieces of French toast, christened with powdered sugar, three chocolate chip pancakes and two cups of coffee.

Just hours later at lunch, Phelps is back at the table, pounding the carbs including a full pound of pasta, ham and cheese sandwiches with mayo and 1,000 calories in energy drinks.

Dinner is more pasta and a full pizza.

Following his record setting Olympic 11th gold medal, Phelps confirmed to Access his champion’s diet is carb-tastic.

“It’s been pretty much pizza and pasta every lunch and dinner for the last four or five days, so probably gonna keep on the routine,” Phelps told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush.

But he does plan on changing his eating routine at some point.
