Lindsay & Samantha Hit New York Fashion Week

Lindsay Lohan & DJ pal Samantha Ronson are no strangers to the fashion world, but even they looked impressed at designer – and Samantha’s sister — Charlotte Ronson’s 2009 spring preview on Saturday.

Charlotte looked to London punk as inspiration for her clothing at New York Fashion Week, showing off short skirts and tight pants in her show, according to the Associated Press.

Lindsay and Samantha, who sat together and posed for pictures with their arms around each other, impressed as well, with LiLo in a blue denim dress and matching pumps and Samantha showing off her rock ‘n’ roll style with a black t-shirt and her trademark skinny jeans.

Not only did Linds look good, but she’s “doing great,” according to “Labor Pains” co-star Bonnie Somerville. The upcoming film marks La Lohan’s return to the big screen after some less than successful turns at the box office.

“All my scenes are with her,” Bonnie told Hollyscoop, an entertainment news Web site. “I went in not knowing what to expect and she’s totally a professional. She seems really happy.”

And Lindsay’s performance in the film should be as good as her mood.

“She’s so good in this movie. I think it’s what people will remember why they fell in love with her in ‘Mean Girls,’” Somerville said. “She’s really funny.”

But it wasn’t all fun and games on the set. Though the paparazzi who follow Lindsay around didn’t interrupt the filming, Bonnie said they were “ruthless.”

“There’s a lot of security, but it’s pretty unbelievable what she goes through,” she said. “I feel bad for her, it’s never happened to me.”

As for Samantha’s frequent presence on set, the DJ wasn’t a distraction.
