Lindsay Lohan lashed out at critics Tuesday, saying that she's a good person who doesn't deserve the harsh treatment from haters in the media.
The tabloid darling told E! News that the obsession with her love life, finances and run-ins with the law is driving her crazy and that she should just be left alone.
"People telling lies about me to her and all this garbage. I'm really a good person and I have a good heart and just want to work," a frustrated Lohan said.
"I don't drink, I don't do drugs, and I don't lie," said Lohan, who claimed that she avoids clubs unless DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson is working the turntables.
Lohan was particularly touchy on the subject of Ronson, saying that media members on break-up watch need to cool off.
"They need to stop saying we're fighting," Lohan said.
Lohan and Ronson have been seen recently sparring publicly - a fight last week resulted in a broken window at Lohan's home.
The "Mean Girls" starlet has plans to start a charity and work on future acting projects as well as create a clothing line, she said.
"It's all possible if people would just stop judging me and accusing me and making me out to be this aloof, spoiled, ungrateful and unprofessional person that I am not and could never be," she grumbled.
Lohan has gotten into several spats with the law - the starlet last Friday had a warrant issued for her arrest. Court dates are pending.
