Jennifer Aniston: ‘This Is The Best Moment Of My Life'

On a regular basis you can spot Jennifer Aniston on the cover of a supermarket tabloid with a headline suggesting the actress is either pregnant or longing for a child.

According to Jennifer, however, that's not what she is after.

"I don't really think about it," she told the UK's Mail on Sunday newspaper. "I have never been a woman who dreams about getting married and having children and having that house in Connecticut. On the contrary, I've always gone with the flow."

Jennifer sat down with the Sunday newspaper to talk about "Marley & Me," which is being released in the UK this week, and during the chat she stressed she is very different from her character, the has-it-all-mapped-out Jennifer Grogan, in the dog-loving film.

"'Life is what it is. I don't think we have any idea about what the future holds for us," she told the newspaper. "Personally, I am not like my character in 'Marley,' I'm not a planner. When I was young I was always thinking, 'Just get me out of the house, just let me survive and get my own apartment.'"

Jennifer, who turned 40 last month, said she is enjoying her age, even if she doesn't feel it.

"I don't really know what it means. I don't know if I am a late bloomer, but I feel like everything is just beginning," she said.

And, the actress added, things are going well.

"I would say that this is the best moment of my life," she told the paper. "I've never felt better physically or professionally; I am a very lucky woman."

While she wouldn't discuss boyfriend John Mayer, or ex Brad Pitt in the new interview, Jennifer did offer a revelation about her "Friends" days.

"Back then I became the spokesperson for hairstyles, which is ironic considering that I don't even know how to do my own hair very well," she admitted.

And while having great hair will always be a badge she wears, Jennifer has nothing but fond memories of her time on the long-running NBC comedy.

"I couldn't top 'Friends,'" she said. "It was one of the best times of my life and it feels like a very precious thing to me; anything that happens from this point is a cherry on top of the cake. The fact that I just get to keep working makes me feel really lucky."
