Jennifer Aniston Reveals Past ‘Horrible' Breakup

Jennifer Aniston has endured very public splits with Brad Pitt and John Mayer – but which breakup from the actress' past does she describe as "horrible?"

"I broke up with a guy and he tried to get back together with me by bringing his mother to a restaurant I worked at and getting down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant," Jen revealed to USA Today.

"The whole restaurant started applauding," she said of an ex-boyfriend from her pre-fame years. "And I was like, 'Get up!' It was horrible."

In her new movie, "Management" with Steve Zahn, Jen plays a woman who longs for a major career change – but would the actress ever consider a different profession outside of Hollywood?

"That's such a tough question. I would say, probably something in the health industry. It's too late to go to medical school," she said. "I'd travel. I'd go back to the years that I never did what I'd wish I'd done, which was travel Europe and backpack. That sounds slightly romantic."

Adding, "Maybe become a chef. There's so much more to do. It's almost overwhelming. I've gotten to a great place in my career."

When Jen is deciding on which projects are right for her, she explained it's about how much she loves the material and not the potential box office haul.

"You've got to really love the project. I just left home after I built up my house for two and a half years. I moved in for a month and now I'm here," she said. "I don't want to do the same thing over and over. It's not about, 'Oh, it's going to be a big hit.' I don't want to do that."

And what does it take to get Jen to leave her newly renovated Beverly Hills home to shoot on location?

"Not much to go to Mexico," she said, regardless of possible swine flu dangers. "I'd even suffer through that and put a mask on."
