Did Lindsay Punch A Paparazzo In The Face?

Lindsay Lohan came out swinging last night in New York, as the starlet was involved in an altercation with a photographer.

The “Mean Girls” star was walking into New York’s Bowery Hotel, the same place where Jennifer Lopez was throwing Marc Anthony’s 40th birthday party, when Lindsay thought a member of the paparazzi had purposely tripped her.

Lindsay, dressed in a gray hoodie and talking on a cell phone, appeared to punch the paparazzo right on the nose.

She then rushed into the hotel, and could be heard telling the person on the other end of the line, “I just hit a paparazzi.”

As it turns out, the cameraman Lindsay allegedly swung at apparently never touched her to begin with. Instead, according to online accounts of what happened, what Lindsay thought was the photog’s foot was reportedly a metal barricade, set up to keep the shutterbugs at bay outside Marc Anthony’s bash.

Although the police were called to the scene, no charges were filed.
