Crazed Fan Crashes Oasis' Party

Lunatic tackles Liam Gallagher from behind and then goes after his brother Noel

Oasis' concert Sunday night in Toronto was rudely interrupted by an overzealous fan who came charging from the back of the stage to take down the band's lead guitarist and they went for their singer.

As Noel Gallagher was playing "Morning Glory" before a crowd of more than 40,000, an unidentified man threw him down onto a set of speakers. Gallagher's brother Liam, the band's lead singer, then threw a hay maker at the "fan" that missed its mark.

The three men were quickly ushered offstage by security.

"The assailant was detained in police custody and will be charged with assault," said a statement from the band.

A few minutes after the scrum, the Gallagher brothers returned to the stage and finished their set. Afterward, Noel was taken to the hospital and checked for a possible cracked rib and ligament damage. Results of the exam are pending.

The whole thing was captured on video and posted to YouTube. The attack occurs at roughly 1:30 mark.
