Charlize Theron Disses ‘The Hills,' Hints At ‘Hancock' Sequel

Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron says she may have starred in a stinker or two, but none of her films are as bad as MTV reality drama “The Hills.”

“I watched a couple episodes,” she told MTV News. “Why is it so big? It’s about nothing! … You can tell me right now to my face that ‘Reindeer Games’ was a piece of s**t. That’s totally fine. But ‘The Hills’ is about nothing. I think the girls are beautiful and when they cry their mascara runs and that’s real, but I don’t get it!”

She had kinder words for her summer blockbuster, “Hancock,” and co-star Will Smith.

“Riding the Will Smith train is a really nice train to ride,” she said, noting that she’d “be an idiot” not to do a sequel if the cast returned.

The glamorous actress is promoting her latest film, the politically minded ensemble drama “Battle in Seattle.” Directed and written by her boyfriend, Stuart Townsend, the film centers on the 1999 protests in Seattle against the World Trade Organization, an action the actress says she’d spend a night in jail for.

“I would definitely go to a WTO protest for sure,” she said.
