Brazilians know dancing. And racecar driving. But dancing, too.

Well, Helio Castroneves knows both -- and is a champion in both. He was in Los Angeles this week to appear on the season premiere of "Dancing With The Stars." And to promote the Long Beach Grand Prix next month. But mostly the "Dancing With The Stars" premiere.

And after one performance, he knows whom he likes.

"It's hard to put one, but I'll say the final I think is going to be between Nicole (Scherzinger) and Evan (Lysacek)," Castroneves said. "Nicole because she dances really well -- actually they both dance really well."

So, the leader of the Pussycat Dolls and the graceful gold medalist figure skater, a pair that may have been the preshow favorites anyway. If someone is going to knock them off, it is going to take more than just dancing, he said.

"I think one person might get there with a good personality," Castroneves said. "I'm not sure if it will be Chad Ochocinco or Niecy (Nash). She has a great personality. It will be interesting to see this. But I think Nicole and Evan will be up there."

Castroneves won season five, along with partner Julianne Hough, and nobody has rocked the banana yellow suit on the show since then. He had both the moves -- he is Brazilian, after all -- and some personality as well.

And he'd like to go back to the show again

I did mention to (the producers) ... when they reach season 12, for the ratings or to keep something special, to do an All-Star season," Castroneves said. "Like all the champions or second place, whoever they feel like."

As for going back to visit for a night, Castroneves feels something that Kate Gosselin probably never will.

"It's great to see the judges again," he said.
