CW Rep: ‘No Deal' For Tori Spelling To Appear On ‘90210'

The new, re-tooled “90210” hasn’t even debuted, but it appears one former West Beverly High student won’t be returning to its hallowed halls, at least not right away.

In May, The CW hinted at Tori Spelling’s return, saying in a press release, “Donna Martin will be the owner of one of the coolest stores in Beverly Hills, a shopping spot that is frequented by the new cast of characters.”

However, it appears things have changed in recent months.

“The CW has no deal with Tori Spelling to appear on ‘90210’ at this time,” a rep for The CW told Access Hollywood.

According to Nikki Finke’s Deadline Hollywood Daily, Spelling’s absence from the show has to do with a dispute over pay.

Spelling was brought on to the new “90210” to reprise her role of Donna Martin for “$10,000-$20,000” per episode, Finke claimed.

Fellow original series stars, Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth, are reportedly brining in “$35,000-$50,000” per episode, Finke reported.

After finding out about the difference in pay, Spelling reportedly demanded a paycheck equal to her former co-stars, but the network refused, according to Finke.
