Relatives of Jam Master Jay plan to mark the sixth anniversary of the unsolved killing of the rap pioneer with a tribute in Brooklyn.
The memorial tribute in honor of the Run-DMC legend's death is scheduled to take place Saturday at Hebron Baptist Church on Willoughby Avenue.
The 37-year-old Jay was gunned down in 2002 at his Queens recording studio by two armed men. No one has been identified as a suspect in the slaying. There have been no arrests.
The investigation into his death stalled after witnesses refused to cooperate.
