CAUSE AND EFFECT: In its 12th year, the Postcards From the Edge benefit show returns this weekend: Here, snag original artwork on paper donated by established and emerging artists, with your money going towards Visual AIDS, the arts non-profit that fights AIDS by provoking dialogue and supporting HIV+ artists. Each of the 1600 postcard-size works is $75, and while the artist’s identity is concealed until purchase, you could walk away with an original piece by, say, Penelope Umbrico or Bill Viola.
