The latest ads for Marc Jacobs' fall collection is gritty New York at its finest -- and yes, that's a model almost falling out of a window trying to catch her handbag. Genius!
Other scenes are reminiscent of an older, CBGBs-era New York -- all dirty corners, graffiti-splayed buildings, and ladies looking fantastically rumpled ("walk of shame" is the phrase that comes to mind).
Overall, it's the dirty-hot city we secretly wish still existed somewhere in downtown Manhattan, proving once again that Marc Jacobs and Juergen Teller (who photographed this campaign as well as many others for MJ) really get it when it comes to New York style.
