Just in time for the busy summer wedding season, Vera Wang's successful collaboration with David's Bridal has expanded to include bridesmaid dresses and footwear.
Presented last night at Wang's New York showroom, the collection of floaty bridesmaid dresses is rendered in soft shades of orchid, amethyst, charcoal, champagne, blush, and moss (to name just a few), along with bridal shoes designed specifically for shakin' it on the dance floor. The bridesmaid dresses are the latest to round out the David's Bridal collaboration, which already includes a slew of the romantic wedding looks (one pictured above).
Wang told WWD that "salsa dancing is one thing I never considered when designing my own line," but the shoes were specifically engineered to persevere through night-long dance excursions.
The collection won't hit stores until late June, but doubtless will prove a hit among brides-to-me who would prefer to outfit their entire wedding party in Wang's modern-luxe designs.
