Urban Outfitters' Online Jewelry Studio

Urban Outfitters, the go-to destination for its plethora of affordable and on-trend apparel and accessories just upped the ante. The retailer's online shop, already brimming with way more stock than you'll find in any of the actual stores, just launched its new jewelry studio yesterday, featuring a slightly more upscale selection of bling than what you're probably used to seeing on the site.

The studio's initial lineup includes pieces from hipster faves like Erika Pena, BJ by Jules, Calourette, Sabrina Dehoff, Lizzie Fortunato Jewels, and Brooklyn-based label—and a cult favorite among Brooklyn Flea-goers—Species by the Thousands (which curiously, was named in a recent article published in The Brooklyn Paper as one of the indie labels that Urban Outfitters was closely copying designs from). Prices span from $18 for a Jules Kim ring to $483 for a Lizzie Fortunato embellished multi-chain necklace, a good indication that while the retailer's scaling things up a bit, there's still plenty of goodies to be had at the usual price points.
