Last week, news broke that the guys of MTV's "The Jersey Shore" were posing with supermodels for Interview, and it seems it's now the ladies' turn to turn their 15 minutes of reality TV stardom into a high fashion spread for Harper's Bazaar.
If Bazaar was trying to keep the shoot under wraps, they probably should have confiscated Snooki and JWOWW's cell phones, since they were tweeting up a storm about the shoot yesterday -- from complaining about the early photo call to posting Twitpics of themselves (along with castmate "Sweetheart") all dressed up at the shoot.
No word yet on what particular issue the "guidettes" will be making it into as of yet, but WWD reports that senior features editor Elisa Lipsky-Karasz is apparently the one who'll have to elicit some choice quotes (shouldn't be too hard) from the ladies.
Let's not forget, Harper's Bazaar has a habit of taking (ahem) less than glamorous subjects and giving 'em the high fashion glossy treatment: Last year, they gave Susan Boyle the makeover of a lifetime, so it'll be interesting to see how this particular shoot turns out.
