The Council of Fashion Designers of America is reportedly plotting a series of online auctions featuring "over-the-top, one-of-a-kind items" from the country's top designers.
According to WWD, CFDA executive director recently sent out a message letting the organizations many members know that the CFDA was plotting "Fashion & Friends for Japan," a plan that would apparently include more than one online auction courtesy of fashion-favored auction site Charitybuzz.com.
Kolb reportedly asked the organization's designers to offer up packages for the auction that were "very special experiences or over-the-top, one-of-a-kind items."
Apparently we won't have to wait long to see what results from Kolb's plea: WWD reports that the auctions will kick off April 5, with sales going to benefit the Japan Society.
