While egging may seem like a rather immature approach to a problem, the act still does happen: Frustrated shoppers looking to buy a new iPhone egged an Apple store in Beijing as recently as January.
The latest victim is Alexander Wang, whose Soho flagship was egged sometime last night. A tipster sent an image to Refinery29 showing the yolk-y damage to the store's Grand Street windows, though by late morning, The Cut snapped images of Wang employees cleaning the windows of the egg-y damage.
Whether it's the work of a simple prankster or a hint at something connected to the designer's recent legal troubles, a store egging certainly can be construed as some sign of trouble.
