A new report in the New York Post claims Knicks power forward Amar'e Stoudemire is in cahoots with designer Rachel Roy to collaborate on a women's line for Macy's.
Perhaps we can blame it on Anna Wintour: According to the Post, Stoudemire's entree into the fashion world came when the Vogue editrix met him at Fashion's Night Out and invited him to sit next to her at Tommy Hilfiger's Fashion Week show. More recently, a sightings of the self-described fashion enthusiast athlete at the Lion supping with designer Rachel Roy fueled speculation, and now sources tell the post the duo ar eteaming up for fall under Roy's existing Rachel Rachel Roy line for Macy's.
Stranger things have happened: We'd have sooner predicted Stoudemire than, say, Karl Lagerfeld at Macy's, after all.
