Andre Leon Tally Gets a New Title, Rumors of Shakeups Abound

Andre Leon Tally went from editor-at-large to contributing editor on this month's Vogue masthead -- apparently because he wanted to do more "freelance projects," as a Vogue spokesperson told The Cut -- and now there are rumors of other shakeups, including other Vogue staffers Grace Coddington and Hamish Bowles

WIth a discovery only a dedicated magazine addict could accomplish, Bryanboy noticed the quiet tweak of ALT's title in the April issue, a rather curious development after it was rumored that Anna Wintour was not a big fan of his plan to appear as a judge on America's Next Top ModelRacked then heard a rumor that ALT isn't the only one who'll be getting a title change, but that creative director Grace Coddington and European editor-at-large Hamish Bowles will also be "experiencing changes" in the near future. Frankly, we're doubtful that any one of these talents would be cast from Vogue's offices, but we could also imagine all three wanting to pursue similar "freelance" projects, especially considering Coddington is already working with The September Issue director on a Catwalk Cats project.
