Ralph Lauren's Nephew to Launch Hand-Sewn Clothing Line

Ralph Lauren's nephew, Greg Lauren, has created a high-end men's and women's line of hand-sewn apparel fpr soring, WWD reports.

Sources say the collection has already been picked up Barneys and "a select group of top specialty retailers." It marks Lauren's first foray into fashion, although he's not altogether a newcomer to the arts. After studying art history at Princeton, Lauren apparently went on to become a successful painter, commanding up to $15,000 for his nudes.

Rounding out the did-you-know factor of the famous designer's nephew, Lauren is not only related to Ralph, but is married to actress Elizabeth Berkeley, who played Jessie Spano in TV's Saved by the Bell and starred in Showgirls.
