One Shot: Anna Wintour, Victoria Beckham Rep Great Britain on a Subway Platform

In an effort to highlight the importance of the British in the fashion industry, Vogue's Anna Wintour joined Victoria Beckham and a bevy of other British style luminaries in the unlikeliest of places: a subway platform beneath Grand Central.

The event was to kick off the "GREAT" campaign, which has the aim of promoting the best of Britain around the world. Victoria Beckham, who is the campaign's international ambassador (good choice, Britan!), rallied the group to Grand Central, where she unveiled a GREAT-branded subway train.

Iconic photographer Patrick Demarchelier took the official photograph, which features Beckham and Wintour, along with Vogue's Hamish Bowles, models Karen Elson and Jourdan Dunn, Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, Tamara Mellon (the former head of Jimmy Choo), and designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of Rag & Bone. Needless to say, the stunt also happens to make a lovely kick-off to the next city on the global fashion week calendar, London.
