Net-a-Porter has always featured an online, shop-able magazine, but at a conference on Wednesday, CEO Mark Sebba announced the company's plans to roll out a print magazine in the next year.
“It isn’t a secret that Net-a-porter will be publishing a major fashion magazine within the next 12 months or so,” Sebba told Wired UK.
For now, details—like a launch date, for example, or editorial appointments—have yet to be released. Recently, the company named Lucy Yeomans, the former editor of Harper's Bazaar UK, editor-in-chief of online content.
Sebba emphasized that a print edition may also lure bigger advertisers, who "increasingly pays the rent as well."
