Designer Narciso Rodriguez and Marie Claire editor-in-chief Joanna Coles are co-teaching a broad-scope seminar on fashion writing and design at the Learning Annex May 13. and you're invited.
The two-hour evening seminar costs $45 and is outlined to cover everything from Cole's personal experience and advice for breaking into the magazine business and fashion writing, while Rodriguez will speak about the design element and how to make one's design a commercially viable venture.
That's a lot of ground for two hours and as a fashion writer, $45 would be a significant chunk of money for an overview lecture -- but then again, it's a much better deal than the $42,500 price tag on a week at Vogue.
