Funky-fashion brand Marni will release a line of denim co-branded with Current/Elliott later this year.
Marni designer Gianni Castiglioni revealed to the Wall Street Journal backstage after the Milan show that the collaboration was underway, but the only description to date is that it's "not classic" -- which is not surprising for Marni, of course.
Having established a cult following by branching out into experimental textures and silhouettes in the clothing, Marni will now branch out the brand with such parnerships as Current/Elliott and also, according to Castiglioni, a Marni fragrance in the near future.
