Lauren Bush Previews Eco-Chic Scarves, Hitting Barneys This Spring

Among the eco-friendly and/or fair-trade vendors at the third annual FEED-Raiser holiday market in the West Village last night, model and FEED co-founder Lauren Bush debuted a new scarf line under her Lauren Pierce Atelier label.

The brand drops political connotations and honors her grandmother's maiden name, and the female connection carries through to the cause: While FEED fights childhood hunger, Pierce supports women in the Democratic Republic of Congo by featuring their one-of-a-kind hand-dyed fabrics.

If you're seeking substance with your style in the New Year, the pieces will ring up around $350 when they hit Barneys this spring.
