Not even celebrities like Heidi Klum are immune from the effects of Hurricane Sandy. Yesterday, the supermodel was forced to cancel her infamous Halloween party.
"Hope you & your loved ones are safe after the storm," Klum tweeted. "Cancelling my Halloween party...postponing to a haunted Christmas."
Given the size and scope of Klum's previous Halloween bashes, we can only imagine how much food, decoration and—of course—how many costumes are going to waste. This year, Klum planned to go as Cleopatra (though we don't expect Klum will ever top last year's costume—an inside-out human body).
Still, if Klum trades candy corn for Christmas cookies, maybe her Cleopatra costume will make an appearance over the holidays at the rescheduled fete.
