Jonathan Adler Goes to Brooklyn

Friend of the Flea and designer Jonathan Adler will relaunch the Curator's Corner series at Brooklyn Flea's One Hanson this Sunday, June 6.

Before he was a household name as interior design's charismatic poster boy, Jonathan Adler sold his pottery at craft fairs like the Flea, so his return for Curator's Corner will be somewhat nostalgic.  "When I decided to become a potter, I imagined a future filled with rain-soaked craft fairs in upstate New York," said Adler. "I never in my wildest dreams thought I would one day have 11 stores around the country or the career that I have. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Brooklyn Flea—let's just hope for sunny weather."

Nice weather, indeed.  In addition to Adler's pottery, home accents, and selection of vintage lighting, Downstairs in the Vault at One Hanson will host its first live musical act by Scottish band Camera Obscura and a Blue Marble ice cream social featuring flavors based on Camera Obscura songs, complimentary!
