The big spring campaigns are on their way, and looks like we'll be getting an eyeful of Betty Draper—er, January Jones—in Versace's racy spring/summer ads.
January Jones' classic beauty and platinum blonde locks caught the attention of fellow blondie, Donatella Versace, who described the actress to WWD as "a perfect Versace woman for the 21st century."
Mario Testino shot Miss Jones in nothing more than the brand's luxe spring accessories and some smoky eyeshadow for the campaign. The groovy 60's styling and flipped-out hair 'do is a reference to Jones' role on Mad Men, though the Versace woman is a lot more "come hither" than lady Draper. We give props to January for shaking up her image with something a tad risque. One can only wear aprons for so long.
