We poked our heads inside the future Alexander Wang store this morning, where we found a merry crew of workers hammering away within the cavernous space on the corner of Grand and Mercer Streets. Still, it looks like there's much to be done.
When we inquired about an opening date, we were told it should be another five to six months, at least, with mid-March as the best guess.
We understand these things take time, but that seems like an eternity—especially if, like us, when you've been on "Wang Watch" since July when we broke news of the store's location. That said, stay tuned for more updates.
