In a move likely to create a windfall for our spring wardrobes, Marni opened another U.S. outlet at Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets, a discount dream just an hour north of the city.
Thanks to Sample Sally's savvy readers, we got a hint of what to expect when we undertake our next field trip out to the outlets. Although small, sounds like the merchandise is plentiful and diverse -- the tipster was even shown extra sizes from the back not shown on the floor and said that the majority of the merchandise is priced at 50-70 percent off. The space is also packed with some of Marni's signature accessories -- sunglasses, jewelry, and, yes, handbags.
New Yorkers lacking a vehicle can get to Woodbury Commons by bus or train -- or by party limo bus and helicopter, according to the WC website -- so off-price Marni wares are now officially a cinch.
