Erin Fetherston Fetes Her Juicy Collab on Bleecker Street

To celebrate her latest collection for Juicy Couture, chic Angeleno Erin Fetherston flew in for a champagne-soaked soiree at Juicy's Bleecker Street boutique. The pale-blonde designer was looking fabulous as usual in a crushed velour dress in bright orange—a highlight, of course, from her own holiday line-up.

In true Juicy form, the holiday collection featured plenty of ruffles and sparkles, yet none of the pieces felt frilly or juvenile, thanks in large part to Fetherston's quirky take on traditional feminine staples like drape-front skirts and itty bitty cocktail dresses. A sequin-pocket blazer, for example, in supple black velvet, struck a perfect balance between cutesy chic and serious sophistication, while any piece from the Victorian-inspired jewelry line would be a welcome find in a holiday stocking.

As for her own holiday wishlist, Fetherston sighs that she'd like "some more free time! To hang out with friends and just take it easy." We can relate. For 2011, Fetherston is resolved to "wear more cute flats, I've been wearing so many heels lately! Or at least a nice, mid-length heel of some kind." Sounds sensible and chic, which goes a long way toward defining Fetherston's innate sense of style.
