Designer Elie Tahari just became the biggest presence on the fourth floor of Saks' flagship with a new 2,250-square-foot space.
Headlining the contemporary wear department—which also houses Ralph Lauren Blue Label—the Saks-exclusive shop-in-shop paves the way for an overhaul of the floor that will include new shops for Tory Burch, DKNY, Burberry Brit and Lafayette 148, WWD reports.
Referencing Saks' "bigger is better" philosophy with the new-ish epic shoe department and the size of his own new shop, Tahari joked that he "thought Ron [Frasch, Saks' president and chief merchandising officer] was going to give me my own zip code." Maybe not quite, but it's still an Elie Tahari metropolis of sorts.
