True, seeing David Beckham in his skivvies is no new thing, but the recent headlines that the soccer star will design his own line of men's briefs certainly is.
Despite his busy soccer career—he's currently playing for the Los Angeles Galaxy—Beckham's second most-frequent activity could easily be showing skin. Besides modeling men's underwear for Emporio Armani, we can't even tell you the number of shirtless photos that come up when you Google him. That said, underwear design seems like an easy fit when it comes time to retire from the sport.
According to CTV, Beckham is being backed by his manager Simon Fuller and Stella McCartney's husband Alasdhair Willis. Given her own recent foray into the world of fashion design, it's likely that wife Victoria will play a major role as creative consultant (especially since she'll be seeing more of the underwear than anyone).
