Black lace -- formerly the domain of expensive lingerie and Lady Gaga -- has been making a steady push for red carpet domination of late. Case in point: two consistently stylish red carpet icons -- Nicole Kidman and Kirsten Dunst -- stepped out for two separate film premieres wearing delicate black lacy dresses.
Dunst opted for a delicate, girlish look by Valentino, where a covered-to-the-neck look with sleeves provided a ladylike balance to the overall-sheer lace. Kidman, on the other hand, opted for a more upscale look by Clements Ribeiro: a midnight blue dress with both lace and sparkling accents.
