Charlie Rose Hosts Dream Team Fashion Round Table

From expert conclusions on fashion week to the economy and feelings on the death of designer Alexander McQueen, Charlie Rose's fashion panel of Elle editor-in-chief Robbie Myers, The New York Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn, J. Crew CEO Mickey Drexler, and designer Narciso Rodriguez covered it all.

From the four diverese perspectives within the world of fashion - Myers and Horyn offer editorial insight, Rodriguez his design sensibility, specifically that of an American designer sought after by celebrities and the First Lady on a regular basis, and Drexler his position at the helm of a retail powerhouse (one equally high on the First Lady's radar, actually).

Of course, we're fashion mad, but it's always interesting to get a big picture on the business and see how fashion, as an art form and cultural force alike, is shaped by current events.  So, too, is the death of Alexander McQueen still a raw topic, and Rose's clip of a 1997 interview with the then-28-year-old prodigal son was fascinating and touching.

If you missed it, it's available to watch online in its entirety here. It's definitely worth a look.
