Mulligan burst onto the scene for her powerful performance in An Education and earned herself an Oscar nomination. In addition to her talent, her chic style and ability to hang with the likes of Vogue editor Anna Wintour in the front row at fashion week define her charming chutzpah. While Mulligan emphasized to the UK Press Association that they were only sitting together for a few minutes and barely talked, Wintour suggested she wear a short dress to the Oscars. However, Mulligan has held a steadfast vision of floor-length glamour for her Oscar turn her entire life, and, unintimidated by the editrix, intends to stick to it. Looks like she doesn't need much of a fashion education, thank you very much.
