Those who stayed 'till the end of J.Crew's first big Fashion Week outing were in for a big surprise: Beyonce strolled in wearing gold sequins.
The event was J.Crew's first show at Fashion Week -- though the brand has held presentations in the past outside the official calendar -- and the 9:30 a.m. presentation attracted an impressive crowd of fashion insiders and retail heavyweights alike. Toward the end of the presentation, Solange Knowles arrived -- wearing Prabal Gurung for J.Crew -- and toured the looks with J.Crew creative director Jenna Lyons. Shortly thereafter, flashbulbs exploded as Beyonce herself appeared in a gold sequin dress to tour the presentation herself. Trailed by a mob of photographers, the star appeared cool and collected as she walked through the looks with Lyons and womenswear designer Marissa Webb.
The show wasn't the duo's only stop: Beyonce and Solange later hit up Vera Wang's runway show at Lincoln Center, as well as Rodarte's show in Chelsea.
