Even a snow storm won't keep us from the epic Barneys Warehouse Sale -- the biannual holy grail of designer sample sales.Platform Louboutins for 50 percent off, gemstone-embellished Phillip Lim dresses for $399 ... we could go on and on about the finds we've secured at sales in years past.
This year brings an interesting wrinkle: The organizers of the sale have opted to kick off the winter festivities on the same day as Fashion Week, virtually ensuring a serious scheduling conflict for the city's denizens who are most interested in fashion. To be completely candid, we still haven't figured out how we're going to cover the sale and all of the Thursday shows at the same time. But cover it, we shall. Oh yes, we will be there.
