Coach's Sweet Treats Hit the Streets

Call it the perfect synergy of fashion and sustenance: Capitalizing on the trend of mobile food vehicles that have taken to the city's streets, Coach is offering up its own sweet interpretation of the traditional ice cream truck to promote its lower-priced bag and accessories line, Poppy.

Brightly decorated with multicolored doodles, images of purses, and exuberant, pretty young things, the "street team" will be stationed outside various Coach stores in Manhattan from noon until 11pm daily through the end of the month.

The ice cream truck, operated by the popular artisanal ice cream makers Van Leeuwen, features its very own "Poppy" flavor, specially-concocted with morello cherries and Michel Cluizel chocolate, while the sprinkled heart and flower-shaped cookies are the products of Treats Truck.

On these dizzyingly hot days, what could be better than a store luring you in with a refreshing blast of air conditioning? Now we know.
