Premieres Tonight: Launch My Line

Bravo's latest fashion-based reality show premieres tonight, and a world of "Project Runway" lovers will be watching -- though to hear the hosts tell it, "Runway" didn't play a factor at all. As judge Stephani Greenfield (a.k.a. the woman who brought SCOOP to the world) insisted, "We never talked about any other shows. We talked about our project."

Hosted by the designers (and twin brothers) behind the label DSquared2, Dan and Dean Caten, the show is apparently more about building a brand than it is about finding a top designer.

The gentlemen of DSquared2 will serve as hosts throughout the show, along with judges Greenfield and Lisa Kline (of the Lisa Kline boutique in LA) and a rotating array of guest judges (we hear a Lucky editor will make her way onto the show tonight!), putting a fleet of 20 up-and-coming fabulous people through the paces of building a cohesive brand.

The contestants are intriguing mostly because of their breadth of talent -- they're not all fashion designers, some are jewelry makers (Kathy Rose), others are style icon (ahem, Patrick McDonald!), and there's even a choreographer (Dan Karaty) and a DJ (Eric Cubeechee). And yes, Lady Gaga will apparently star in one episode! As Dan Caten insisted, "She was really inspiring." No joke! Tune in tonight at 11PM EST on Bravo to watch the madness unfold -- preview clip below.
