Obama Taps Anna Wintour for President's Arts Group

Remember all those rumors months ago about Anna Wintour eyeing a White House post? Well, it turns out the Vogue editrix will indeed be joining the ranks of the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities, along with 24 others.

If memory serves, Wintour fervently denied any rumors that she would work for the Obama Administration, so perhaps the appointment is more of a "non-working" type of gig.

Regardless, Anna Wintour is now officially a member of a presidential committee, along with other style and entertainment luminaries like Sarah Jessica Parker, Edward Norton, Forest Whitaker, Teresa Heinz Kerry, and more. The committee will advise the president on new ways to develop the arts in the community.
