Nicholas Kirkwood has brought his breathtaking designs down to earth a bit with a new line of flats.
Showing off no less artistic prowess than Kirkwood's over-the-top - not to mention, sky-high - platforms and stillettos, the new flats do so on a more understated plane. There's a trio of gamine kicks in suede lace-up with a two-tone toe, and one with black patent leather accents, as well as a reimagined ballet flat with patent accents and a tiny sculptural lift and a zipper up the heel.
Right now, they're being sold exclusively in limited edition at the UK's DSM boutique, but we're holding out for news of their entrée to the States, so stay tuned.
