Naeem Khan, Jeremy Scott, Peter Jensen Hit New York Fashion Week

Their aesthetics couldn't be more different, but designers Naeem Khan and Jeremy Scott both recently announced their plans to return to the New York Fashion Week runways.

After a seriously spectacular year, Fashion Week Daily reports that Naeem Khan will be returning to the Bryant Park tents with a runway show in February 18, after having spent two seasons showing his collection at this studio. Khan, whose ladylike cocktail dresses and glamorous separates have become the red carpet favorite of both starlets and Michelle Obama, has much to boast about. Not only did his collection for HSN sell out in a record 10 minutes, FWD reports that he was the third most Googled person in American on November 25 (the day after Michelle Obama wore his dress to a state dinner).

On the other end of the fashion spectrum, Jeremy Scott announced yesterday that he'll be returning from showing abroad at London Fashion Week to bring his eclectic, playful style back to New York Fashion Week. Scott's almost campy aesthetic has been embraced by red carpet eccentrics like Bjork and Lady Gaga (who even wore his deep V-neck dress on Project Runway this week). Since Gaga will be at fashion week again this season, there's a good chance she'll be front row at this show -- which will likely make it one of the harder tickets to get.

Finally, Peter Jensen was wooed by MAC/Milk Studios to come over, and he acquiesced. "I'd been thinking for a long time that I'd like to do something in New York," the designer told Vogue UK. Since Jensen has been regular on the London runways for some time, MAC at Milk's snagging the designer for New York Fashion Week is quite a get.
