Oregon-based Euphoria Chocolate filed a lawsuit to halt a promotion at Macy's wherein shoppers receive the goodies with purchase of Calvin Klein's Euphoria perfume. Chocolate and perfume stuck in a not-so-blissful situation? Yuck.
A federal judge has halted the promotion and granted a restraining order after the chocolate company claimed the boxes being given away at Macy's with purchase of $65 or more on Calvin Klein's Euphoria perfume infringed on established trademark rights.
We're no legal experts, but seems sad that "Euphoria" can't extend to both perfume and candy. Sigh.
