Not to be deterred by haters - and upon its first NYC opening in Soho in July, there were many - Hollister announced the addition of another megaplex store on Fifth and 52nd.
Construction on the 15,500-square-foot space will begin January 1, and plans include folding in Abercrombie & Fitch kid's brand, abercrombie, into the new Hollister store. Perhaps with the predominance of tourists in that area, as opposed to the hardened locals downtown, there will be less madness in Midtown, but who knows?
Ho hum, but here's a fun fact we knew, just not officially: Hollister is geared toward 12-to-24-year-olds. We knew those shirtless boys standing out front in Soho made us feel old...
